⁶ When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. ⁷ There were about twelve of them in all.

⁸ He then entered the synagogue, and during the next three months he spoke out fearlessly and argued persuasively about the kingdom of God.
